About Jennifer

Jennifer Goodwin is CEO and owner of multiple websites under the Jennifer Goodwin International brand.  Jennifer has a burning desire to help those without voices (pets, children, disabled people) or those without opportunites (single working moms, solo-preneurs etc) to achieve the happy, healthy and wealthy lives that they dream of.

Jennifer was an extremely gifted child and during her elementary years, she received one on one teachings as she was not challenged unless given college level studies.  It was evident early on that she would have a future paved in gold.  Unfortunately, life had other plans and after some difficult home years, she opted to join the work force rather than attend university.

Over the course of Jennifer's 'careers' and 'real jobs' she found that she never fit the corporate image.  She always spoke up for herself and others which was frowned upon by most of her supervisors.  Punching a clock and doing repetitive work were worse than a death sentence for Jennifer.  Spending most of her 20's doing everything under the sun: insurance, banking, car sales, bartending, flying planes, graduating the police academy, managing large events (and so many odd jobs that she's convinced that the IRS has a 'Jennifer Room" for training new agents), Jennifer realized that she had a lifelong desire for architecture and quickly secured a degree in Architectural Technology. (With a 3.98 at that!)

Once again she was faced with the question "Should I work for someone else or work for myself?"  Still listening to the nay-sayers, she took a job working for an engineer only to walk out after 6 months and open her own business.  Designer Drafting, Inc. was born and Jennifer exhibited in the largest kitchen and bath show without having a clue about business.  She was overwhelmed with client leads and set out to find a way to streamline everything that was keeping her from generating more revenue than her 40-50 labor hours could bring in.

Hiring more talent like herself was an obvious thought as was finding software to automate the many daily tasks it took to run the business.  Not having any budget to spend on programming such a large custom software, Jennifer decided that she had to work more than one job for a while longer to save up the money she needed to build her solution.

Jennifer sold everything in her NJ home, packed up her SUV and drove accross country to work in Vegas by relying on her 15 years of bartending, catering and event management skills.  Vegas was perfect for reducing the expenses (Jennifer does NOT have the gambling bug) but the people in Vegas did not match the integrity that Jennifer spent her life honing.  With honesty and loyalty lacking in the Devil's Den, Jennifer packed her bags and moved back to the East coast even more determined to make her dreams become a reality.

She knew that she was finally willing to work for someone else temporarily to bring in that thing they call a paycheck to fund the dreams she was building on the side.  She knew that with her background (and tweaked resume) she could have a handful of jobs to pick from in NYC within one week.  She set out to make finding a job her full time job.  Forty hours a week were spent lining up interviews, interviewing, following up, placing resume ads and three months later, NOTHING was popping.  Discouragement was at an all time high. When down to her last $250, Jennifer was offered a 3 day trial at a world renowned lighting designers office.

As Jennifer was getting off the Port Authority bus in NJ, her cell rang. "Jennifer, it's the recruiter.  It looks like the past three days you've spent working as a trial have sealed the deal.  Everything is a go and the boss LOVES you!".  You'll start Monday and within 6 months, your salary will double."  Finally! Life was cutting her a break and just in the nick of time.

Within 5 minutes, the recruiter called again..  "Jennifer, I have some horrible news.  The boss just realized that he needs to slow down business so he can move his office in 16 weeks over the holidays and therefore he cannot take on payroll until the first of the year."  In that instant, Jennifer was crushed.  Emotionally on her knees, she had never felt this thing called DESPAIR.  She was done, kicked, drained, finished and was screaming to the universe "WHY?!?!?  I've done everything I'm 'supposed' to do.  I've busted my butt to get a 'real job' like I was fighting for my life!"  Tears could not be held back this time.

In that same instant, Jennifer felt a wave of security and devine intelligence wash over her whole being and a 'voice' said "You are about to go through something amazing. Everything is going to be okay.  You are NOT meant to go down that other path."

Jennifer was giddy.  She raced home with anticipation about what was going to happen.  She had no idea what it was but the feeling was so overwhelming and so 100% sure that she was completely without doubt regarding the corner she was about to take.  She sat down at her computer inside of her beautiful 3 story rented townhouse. (Jennifer was paying $500/month to the owner/roommate and loved her 'spot')  She started writing and came up with a plan for 7 day emergency money, 30 day breathing money, 90 day "never make a financial mistake again" money.

She looked around and saw that she was living in a 600 unit gated townhouse development complete with pool, fitness, guard shack (you get the idea).  These homes not only cost an average of $500k each but most owners were NYC commuters.  Simply, there was money here and Jennifer was just as deserving of money as anyone else.

At that moment, a flyer was born.  Jennifer called her community's office and asked "When does the next quarterly newsletter go out?" To which the lady on the phone answered "Tomorrow."  Nervously, Jennifer asked "Is there still time to put a flyer inside?" Coincidentally enough, "Yes.  Just bring $100 check and the insert to us by tonight and we will make sure your news go in."

Remember that $250 that Jennifer was down to?  She did not even think twice about walking (gas was not a feasible option for penny pinching) to Kinkos to print out 600 copies of what she had created that afternoon.  She dropped off her box with $100, thanked the lady and walked home with fingers crossed.  Jennifer spent the next couple of days peering out the window in hopes of seeing these newsletters placed on each person's door.

And then...IT started; the flyers started appearing, the phone calls started coming in and within one week, Jennifer had $1000 and an invitation to join forces in a networking meeting.  That one networking meeting brought Jennifer key people that became clients and life was dumping coincidence after coincidence on top of her 10-20 times a day.  If you know the law of attraction, you know what all this means.  Jennifer was on a ride; a 'fast pass' to the spot she was meant to be at on the journey of her life.

That flyer quickly turned into a website (internetGIRLfriday.com) and Jennifer was off and running in the world of making money online.  She was inspired, thankful, determined and committed to always making strategic decisions, strategic partnerships and to help others by providing them with knowledge and opportunities so that they can live their dreams NOW. Since then, Jennifer has studied everything about marketing CORRECTLY, acting STRATEGICALLY and making money on the internet EFFICIENTLY.  She now lives a life of sharing and helping others along the way.
